ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD AT CUBLEY HALL                                                                               ON WEDNESDAY 21st  OCTOBER,  2009

RECEIVING OF ANNUAL REPORT

Chairman Andy Plummer read out his annual report.

 

RECEIVING OF AUDITED ACCOUNTS

Treasurer Pauline Senior presented the audited accounts for 2008/2009.  They were passed as a true record. Prop. John  Rowe, sec Sue Higham.

Andy Plummer announced that he will be standing down as Chairman at the next AGM.

 

A discussion was held on the Editor of the Hill and Ailsa Park offered to help Dave and Jane Foster produce the next edition and then would take on the post.

 

All the existing post holders have agreed to stand for another year.    All in favour.

 

 

 

ELECTION OF AUDITORS

Mike and Anne Smythe agreed to act as auditors for the next financial year and were elected to the post.  All in favour.

 

TO FIX THE AMOUNT OF ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

Pauline Senior proposed that there is no change to the annual subscription, sec Teresa Wall.  There was only 1 vote against this.

 

ADOPTION OF RACES FOR 2009 AND APPOINTMENT OF ORGANISING COMMITTEES

Hartcliffe Hill Race – 22nd April to be organised by Pete McLeod and Barbara Haigh.   Cakes to be awarded as prizes but this year there will be a theme.

 

Thurlstone Chase – 10th July to be organised by Bob Innes, Jane Cockerton, Pete McLeod, John Wright, John Rowe and Keith Gordon.

 

Show Race – 11th September to be organised by Sue Higham, Martyn Cartwright, Ian Charlesworth, Jill Davis, Colin Loyns, Colin Porteous and Jane Foster.

 

Oxspring Trail Race – 25th September to be organised by Bob Chitoriski.

 

Proposed by Andy Plummer, sec. John Rowe that these races are adopted.  All in favour.

 

TO RECEIVE AMENDMENTS TO CONSTITUTION RULES

No amendment has been submitted to the Constitution.

 

DATE OF NEXT AGM

The next AGM was fixed for Wednesday 13th October 2010.
