Boundary Race. This is the first running of the Penistone Boundary
Race for individuals or relay teams of 3. Each leg is approximately 5.5
miles. Runners are advised to check their route in advance. The route is
marked but the small signs can easily be missed when running. Route details and a map can be found here. The relay teams times will be adjusted according to WMA tables which take into account age and gender. This means that teams can be made up of any combination of age and gender and a team of good 'oldies' could easily win. The runners for each leg will set off as soon as the first relay runner arrives at the checkpoint. Race Entry Here. No entries on the day. Race for both individuals and relay teams starts at 10.30. First runners are expected back at about 12.30. Prizes will be announced as soon as possible but by 1.30 at the latest. |
