Stannage 2004

A record number of runners, 220 finished the Struggle today almost 100 up on last year. Penistone were well represented with over 10% of the field and 24 PFRAC runners taking part. For full results see www.hathsage.org.uk

Congratulations to Nicky Spinks and Damian Kilpin who became this years female and male Fell Champions at Hathersage today. Nicky was first Penistone lady home in a time of 53.10, Damian was first Penistone runner home in a time of 48.09. Both Nicky and Damian cannot now be caught in the Fell section, Damian has two wins and one second to his name while Nicky has been first lady in all 3 races to date.
