Dennis Stitt Memorial 15th Aug 2002. Weather warm, and no breeze.
The race held many unanswered questions, like would Geoff make the start? would Sue come home with another musical box to add to her collection? Would the Fosters make it back from America in time? Who would take the maximum 50 points from the race, as none of our previous race winners were present at the start?
In the end Bobinnes took the honours, Sue missed out on all the prizes despite being 1st LV50, Geoff missed the start, but still finished, and the race just had 1/2 a Fosters not the full pint, the other half was still jet lagged.
