Oughtibridge Chase - 20th June 2001 (4th Championship race, 1st in Xcountry section)   The race was well supported by Penistone runners with 24 of our runners making up over 50% of the total field. Congratulations to Simon Rippon who was 1st Penistone runner home and 3rd overall. That's Simon's 2nd Championship race victory following his success at the Sheffield 10K. Second Penistone runner was, guess who? Mark Law, his 4th consequtive 2nd place, which extends his lead in the Overall Championship.
